I have Bachelors degrees in English, Theatre Arts, Graphic Communications & Law. I also received Master of Laws degrees in Corporate & Business Law and Intellectual Property Law.

Based on the above, I guess it’s safe to say that I love reading & learning. I wanted to share my passion & love of learning with my kids.

If you’re a parent, I’m sure you can appreciate that sharing anything about reading and learning with kids is an uphill battle. Trying to pry them away from their screens was not for the faint of heart.

My exhaustion & frustration from losing many battles got me thinking of more creative ways to share my love of reading & learning with my kids. Eventually, I decided to combine my love with my passion for writing.

Consequently, Ménesa Writes (MW) was born out of a single question,

“How can I get my kids to love learning & reading?”

Like many parents, I desperately wanted to help my kids read, learn, and grow.

The answer to my question was a merger of what I wanted with what the kids wanted. It was a simple solution. I wanted them to read, learn, and grow. They wanted screen time. I figured, if I write the books I wanted them to read, make them downloadable, they could have their screen time, and I could have my peace of mind.
